1. University degree in Finance and/or Accounting

2. Qualified Accountant with 3-5 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting, background in the Wholesale / Retail industry would be preferable

3. Fluency in spoken and written English & Mandarin, spoken Cantonese would be advantageous.

4. Advanced levels of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Excel & Word)

5. Hands on experience with ERP system, familiarity with IBS would be advantageous

6. Previously handled full set of accounting

7. Analytical, process oriented, technical competence

8. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare HCD’s financial statement in a timely and accurate manner, prepare month end journal entries, accrual and make commentary to management to highlight issues for the month

2. Ensure all daily non-trade AP transactions of HCD are recorded correctly in books and duly approved by budget owner

3. Liaise with internal business counterparts (Sales, Operations, and Finance team in China) as part of daily duties

4. Assist in monthly consolidation and prepare closing schedules

5. Assist in reconciliation of inter-company transactions

6. Prepare functional reports, review and reconcile the monthly overheads expenses with different budget owners

7. Assist in year-end audit and other statutory requirements

8. Assist in preparing Annual Operating Plan & Budget for the group

9. Assist in identifying improvement suggestion for ERP system, and liaise with FM or IBS consultant for fixing system / process issues if any

10. Ensure the month end/quarter end closing procedures are properly carried out incl.: i) quarter end review of S&D provision, ii) monthly review of overheads with various budget owner

11. Prepare Cash flow forecast and manage trade AP payment
