POSITION SUMMARY
The Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring manufacturing operations are performed to meet safety standards, quality expectations and customer demands. The role will focus on cost savings, quality assurance, best practices, improved safety, and high production outputs. Relative reports and representation with vendors and customers is expected. The position requires flexibility in schedule and expectations as priorities change according to customer needs and current work flow. A strong understanding of custom fabrication of metal products is a must.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Competency Statement(s)
? People skills - able to work with high level executives and sales, as well as shop personnel
? Time management skills - organize and complete work within given time lines
? Motivational - Firm, yet positive in direction
? Communication, Verbal - able to relay information clearly
? Speak and write Chinese fluently some basic English is a must.

Education
? Associates or higher college education a plus

Experience
? 8-10 years metal manufacturing experience
? Strong background in mechanical operations
? Management experience
? Basic understanding (theoretical knowledge) of engineering
? Custom manufacturing knowledge (not repetitive products)


SKILLS & ABILITIES
Computer Skills
? MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel

Trade Skills
? Welding, Sheet metal, Shear, Machining - basic manufacturing and machining knowledge
? Able to read blueprints

Other Requirements
? Use of Basic Office Equipment: Computer, Printer/Copier/Fax/Scanner, Calculator.

? Shop Office and Shop floor.
