POSITION DESCRIPTION:

DuPont’s industry-leading Transportation & Industrial (T&I) business segment provides high-performance engineering resins, adhesives, lubricants and parts to engineers and designers in the transportation, electronics, industrial and healthcare markets to enable material systems solutions for demanding applications and environments. Reporting to the Asia Pacific Regional Communications Leader, this position will support regional and global segment communications leaders in creating business-related communications for AP region, working collaboratively to drive aligned and consistent messaging. This person will play a key role in the implementation of marketing communications strategies and in telling the stories of T&I’s activities and accomplishments for various audiences, including the media, investors, industry specialists, and the general public.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with T&I Communications leadership to implement integrated communications plans that align with business strategies and support business targets
• Develop required elements of the communications mix—including videos, promotional collateral, e-publications, email campaigns, and advertising—ensuring integrated execution across the different channels within defined areas of industries/platforms. Ensure correct implementation of all brand and design guidelines
• Develop news releases covering T&I’s product introductions, events and partnerships
• Support internal communications in featuring T&I success stories and fostering engagement with T&I strategy
• Collaborate with appropriate team members (Digital, Marketing and IT) to drive targeted, relevant, and timely communications through efficient and effective channel utilization and mix; ensuring message relevance and consistency. Ensure that strategy is consistently executed across multiple channels (PR, Web / Online, internal, social media, SEO, SEM, email marketing, influencer relations), with the support of Global Communication team experts
• Leverage common tools, processes, practices across the business that are aligned with relevant standards and policies, and as part of the Global Communications team share best practice and learnings
• Support exhibitions and events, including through thought leadership in conjunction with relevant teams
• Partner with other business MC colleagues to support communications programs for common target industries to support China or regional growth initiatives.
• Organization and upkeep of library of digital assets and collateral (e.g. fact sheets, presentations, photos, literature) and other shared resources
• Other miscellaneous activities and/or ad-hoc requests as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Undergraduate degree in communications-related field
• Strong oral and written communications skills in both Chinese and English
• Over 10 years of experience in B2B marketing communications, public relations, or relevant communications field
• Working knowledge of digital marketing/social media methodologies and related technologies
• Highly organized and attention to detail is critical.
• Experience managing big scale trade shows or similar promotional events

Preferred:

• Proven track record in copywriting promotional materials
• Solid experience in employee communications
• Advanced degree in marketing communications or related field.
