Responsibilities

Budgeting and budgetary control, financial forecasting & simulation tools for few legal china entities
Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets (sales, P&L and BS), and project-specific profitability analysis
Produce monthly, quarterly and yearly financial comparative analysis by concentrating on the production of basic reporting requirement of profitability, liquidity, solvency, stability and etc
Produce accurate weekly cash flow prediction with wide range of involvement with many other functional departments
Driving improvement & development of a cost management framework and ensure that cost management activities (e.g. budgeting, forecasting and tracking) are in compliance
Analyze, identify, propose and track initiatives for reducing costs
Conduct cost and expenses analysis; analysis and preparation of all management reports to provide insight to the businesses we support
Investigate causes of significant variances and provide corrective action
Ongoing review of results and initiating action where required on unfavorable or unexplained variances
Costing and management accounting with an ability to direct pricing strategies
Highlighting opportunities and embedding improvements in the cost management culture of the organization and empowering ethical cost management behaviors throughout all levels of the organization
· Identify area of process improvement especially on cost and be part of the system implementation team by working with various business units and any additional ad hoc duties as required by the management.

· Develop and lead internal control processes in the company

Ensure timely annual statutory reporting, tax audits in compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley and IFRS requirements
Risk Management Identify potential financial and business risks arising out of micro and macro factors and design mitigation plans
Requirement



Bachelor of Accountancy and preferably with a CPA qualification
Experience working in an international audit firm is an added advantage and at least 6 years of managerial experience
Experience working in a fast pace MNC
System implementation skills and process improvement experience will be noted
A team player, assertive enough to ensure adherence to standards of control and ability to deal with team members of various cultures and nationalities.
Enjoy working in a team environment with direct interaction with the operations team.
Professional written and verbal communication skills required
