该职位为欧诺法功能化学品贸易（上海）有限公司岗位，工作地点为：徐汇区龙华中路596号

Position Summary:

The person will work under the direction of the department manager to provide applications and technical support to existing customer base in China and supporting product and customer qualification trials. Primary focus will assist sales to solve technical and application issues at customer plants in the use of OMNOVA products including the acceptance and commercialization of new products. Responsible for providing customer requirements and feedback to our new product development team.




Key Responsibilities:

·Understand OMNOVA's current product offering and technologies

·Assist sales to understand and solve product problems at customer plants

·Understand customer manufacturing processes, product applications/end uses, and competitive products to support troubleshooting activities and assist Sales in defining customer needs and wants including the value/benefits the product brings to the customer

·Actively participate in customer's product qualification trials and approvals, and follow-up with account management team

·Make applications laboratory work as needed to solve customer products and support new product qualification trials

·Keep abreast of technical developments and communicate/act on competitive activity

·Issue timely and clear reports summarizing work projects

·Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by department manager




Minimum Qualifications:

·Enthusiastic at LEARNING NEW Knowledge and HIGHLY ENERGETIC self-starter

·BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Material Science

·1 - 2 years of lab works or product applications & technical service experience in specialty chemicals industries, like Styrene Butadiene, Acrylics and Vinyl acetate emulsion/polymer

·Solid written, oral and presentation communication skills (English and Mandarin)

·Prior working experience with multi-national firms and familiar with Western culture

·Ability to travel frequently

·Demonstrated PC skills including MS Office suite, Mini-Tab, etc.
