Responsibility

1 Supervise and manage the contractor’s construction activities in accord with HSE requirement of relevant China national and local standards, contract, Employer and Colliers PjM;  

2 Inspect the site on daily basis and issue Non-Compliance Report (NCR) if verbal instruction is ignored, making clear time for completion of rectification.  

3 Follow up contractor’s actions and make sure non-compliances are rectified in a timely manner as per the corrective instructions.  

4 Escalate corrective instructions as per Colliers PjM HSE Escalation Policy whenever the instructions are ignored and other measures taken are not effective.   

5 As a member of Colliers PjM site team, host the site meeting on HSE and prepare daily/weekly/monthly report or provide relevant data on HSE for daily/weekly/monthly report as appropriate.  

6 Manage Jianli and make its team work together with Colliers PjM in site HSE management, aiming for the Jianli to play its special role and comply with its legal and contractual duty of performance  for site safety;  

7 Record HSE data and reserve HSE documentation on site office according to Colliers PjM’s requirement.  

8 Other tasks required by Colliers PjM HSE procedure or allocated by line manager.

Competency 

Qualification Relevant construction major or safety major; Certified safety engineer; 

Experience At least 5 years experience; Working knowledge of China HSE requirements; 

General Skill Computer skill in Office, etc. English preferred. Capable of producing written reports in Chinese and in English preferred; 

Functional Skill Attention to detail, high responsiveness and assertiveness, self motivation
