BASIC FUNCTIONS  

Responsible for the company’s EHS management in accordance with the central and local regulations.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1.      Make EHS work plans, including budget planning and implementation;

2.      Make EHS management system and technical regulations and implementation;

3.      Design, construct and inspect EHS system during the period of establishing, expending, re-building & maintaining;

4.      Maintain contacts between official departments and fire-fighting brigade;

5.      Responsible for the EHS training and evaluation of staff;

6.      Supervise the site constructors and issue work-permits;

7.      Test and maintain the EHS equipment to ensure proper functioning;

8.      Examine, appraise the status of EHS system and correcting improper performance; entitled to discontinue when the operation danger occurs and submit report accordingly.

9.      Make regulations to prevent potential problems. Provide suggestion on punishment and award;

10.   Handle, investigate, accumulating the accident and keep files;

11.   Plans, directs and implements all aspects of the company security;

12.   Contact window to landlord of all the facility issues and security guard team management;

13.   Lead plant building 5S, 6S and security audit with support from other functions.

14.   Other works assigned by department supervisor

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTRACTS

1.     Report to EHS Associate Manager

2.     Frequent contacts with other departments

  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS

1. Bachelor degree majored in Environmental Science, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Administration or related subjects;

2. Minimum 5 years experience of EHS in Manufacturing or chemical company, has experience of on-site safety management;

3. Management skills in selecting, coaching, motivating and developing people;

4. Analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities

5. Good command of spoken and written English;

6. Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
