Responsibilities and Tasks
Own the generation of the Master Plan for each SSD Development program aligned with the Technical Specification Matrix to prove all product requirements are tested and reviewed.
Provide training and guidance to your team on formal problem analysis methodologies, and improved product knowledge to be the experts to solve system issues during product development.
Develop and improve processes and procedures driving alignment across all development functions and Design Center locations on System Engineering methods.
Establish a training regimen for employees to develop comprehensive system knowledge of SSDs
Lead your team in Test Development and Analysis
Develop and execute test plans and scripts to evaluate new product features
Evaluate existing test plans and scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency
Identify or develop test tools to enable failure analysis and improved testability
Develop test automation to drive organizational efficiency
Lead your team in Product Test and Failure Analysis
Lead the team technically to identify the margin of all component interfaces for window timing,
Signal and power integrity – Verification and Characterization plan.
Teach your team to lead cross functional failure analysis to solve program gating issues
Drive issues to closure by interfacing and collaborating with other product development teams
Support Internal / External Customers
Provide Technical support (e.g. failure analysis, questions, etc.) to any internal or external customer during product development
Support internal and external qualifications and audits
Develop and deliver product specific training.

Follow all Micron Policies and Procedures
Recognize and resolve safety and environmental problems, including assistance to improve documentation and procedures
EducationMaster’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering preferred.
