职位描述
Primary Function:
This position aims to achieve excellence of company planning activities and take charge of purchasing management. Designs, develops and implements all planning and purchasing related guidelines and review planning and purchasing strategy to meet new challenges and support Company’s growth and expansion in China.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Review the process and structure with Product Management and Digital Strategy director to build high efficient process and working organization. Enable the targeted business growth.
Supplier Performance Management
? Train and coach suppliers to understand our internal process, key performance indicators and share supply chain best practices prior to and throughout the cooperation.
? Set up and update specific/measurable goals/scorecard for suppliers in aspects of Quality, Cost Mgmt, Lead-Time, Delivery and Service, partner with them to review their operations, influence and help them to achieve and excel the goals.
? Work with Product Management team to resolve the supplier performance issues and improve suppliers’ performances.
? Develop, initiate, and ensure implementation of assigned projects.
Planning and Inventory Management
? Work with Product Management, Sales and Finance to analyze key inventory metrics for the purpose of managing planning and product availability effectiveness.
? Supervise the planning and ordering of time-critical materials to support PM and Sales, while maintaining optimal inventory levels (avoid both shortages and overages)
Purchasing Daily Management
? Lead the team to continue improving suppliers order delivery timeliness by frequent communication and close follow up.
? Work with Sales, PM and sourcing to solve the issue during the purchasing process including delivery time, product quality and product return.
Team Management
? Build up and develop a strong team with planning and purchasing professionals through selective recruitment, training and coaching.
Preferred Education & Experience:
? Bachelor’s degree preferred majoring in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Planning Management, and Industrial Distribution. MBA is a plus.
? At least 8 years proven good record in Planning & Purchasing area.
? 5 year experience in managing a team with good leadership and supervisory skills.
? Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with various levels of people.
? Good financial aptitude with fact basis and data driven analytical capability to make economic decisions with consideration of relevant factors, include cost, delivery & quality reliability, service, innovation, sustainability etc.
? Strong customer satisfaction focus; exceeds expectations of internal and external customers.
? Proficient in Excel and Access or other database and reporting tools, Exposure to SAP and BW desirable.
?Demonstrate high personal integrity in conducting business with external/internal parties. Ensure compliance to the laws, business guidelines and code of conduct, company ethical standards .
?Fluent in both oral and written English.
? Able to travel as required.
