Job Description

The copywriter’s main responsibilities are to develop compelling copy and content for the Huili website, WeChat, key social/digital media that aligns with our brand guidelines and digital strategy, to proofread/edit content provided by various school-based stakeholders to align with brand guidelines. This role is to achieve the objectives of increasing awareness, engagement, actions (contribution to enquiries/leads, intent to enrollment, etc.) and advocacy through social media and new media.

Job Scope & Key Responsibilities

Copywriting

1. To create content for school brands and align with the 3 schools’ distinctive brand tonalities
2. To help develop the annual content roadmap and elaborate daily content delivery
3. To interview pupils, parents, teachers and relevant staff members with a view to creating accurate and insightful content.
4. To organise and write articles for the following platforms:Wechat, Website, social media；Marketing materials；Press advertising；News releases；Articles, posters；Brochures；Weekly Brief report on performance of the platforms
5. To convert content onto different platforms as well as for media with necessary adjustment
6. To develop quality content for best identified Chinese media exposure
7. To proofread all the content in Chinese and have them delivered in a polished and readable format
8. To be sensitive with hot topics, to connect suitable hot topics with brand information
9. To keep an eye on peer competitors’ dynamic branding performance for notable reference
10. To track each content from the beginning to the end, while ensuring that the content is logical and clear

Others

1. To assist Marketing campaign idea generation and campaign execution
2. To work with Digital Marketing on the SEO content development
3. To work with visualiser to ensure that copy and visual are aligned
4. To proofread the Chinese of the school publication
5. To keep the school content up-to-date on a yearly basis or up to the currently needed timeframe
6. To organise media clipping and archiving
7. To help out in marketing events when necessary

Job requirements

1. Interested in working in a school environment

2. The ability to write and think creatively in Chinese Language

3. Able to read, write and converse in basic English Language

4. Able to translate English to Chinese accurately

5. Proficient in writing skills and able to understand and translate client’s message into engaging articles

6. Able to prepare engaging and relevant questions and conduct suitable groundwork for insightful interviews with a range of potential interviewees

7. The ability to work strict deadlines without compromising on work quality

8. Great organisational skills

9. Interested in meeting people

10. An eye for detail and deep insights

11. Very good communication and presentation skills
