Job Description:

We are looking for a Scientific Operations Manager to support general operations within Research function such as

* Oversee the various talent programs in NIBR Shanghai (postdoc, internship etc.) and act as the interface with HR in various talent training and development programs;

* Support Head of Scientific Operations and other members in the Research leadership team in data gathering, analysis and coordination of scientific input in process improvements / initiatives based upon scientific goals and priorities, develop communication and presentation materials;

* Responsible for coordination with NIBR program office and other functions in other NIBR sites;

* Manage Research wide activities, meetings, and workshops in Shanghai;

* Participate in development, management, and optimization of the NIBR Shanghai site and functional operating budgets, facilitate the budget review process;

* Space and lab planning.

Minimum requirements:

Candidates must have Ph.D. degree in life science with minimum 8 years of experience in pharma or biotech industry. Self-motivation, strong interpersonal skills and fluency in communications with both English and Chinese are a must, hands on experience in operations or other business functions in a multi-national pharma setting is preferred.
