Job Title: Senior Application and Technical Service Engineer

Technical Manager, LifeSciences APAC

PURPOSE:

This position serves for Pharma segment in Life Science – Health BU. It is responsible for developing applications and formulations to translate chemistry to value and provide technical solutions to commercial team and customers in line with the business strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Follow internal technology gate process to conduct pharmaceutical applications and technical service projects to meet market and customer needs.

Plan formulation projects, design and conduct experiments, analyze results, write up protocol and report.

Lead the development of prototypes to meet unmet customer needs.

Understand and create data to support value propositions and customer value communications.

Provide technical solution and related support to the customers including on-site services support depending on the needs

Work collaboratively with other internal / external groups and apply scientific principles to extend performance understanding.

Report results to direct management and documents results with reports.

Follow lab SOPs and maintain accurate records of experiments, results and conclusions.

Take part of lab administration in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

职位要求：

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutics with minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical formulation experience, or advanced degree (Master, Ph.D) with minimum 7 years of working experience.

Work experience in Pharmacy or related company in the role of R&D; or related position.

Master pharmaceutical technology with solid knowledge of solid or semi-solid formulations, excipients function and equipment.

Sound analytical skill

Strong problem anticipation & solving skill; innovative, able to think outside the box and generate creative approaches.

Able to work independently, with strong team spirit.

Good Chinese and English communication skills and presentation skills.

Self-starter, highly motivated towards goals & objectives.
