Software Development Group in Unisys Global Sourcing China provides Software Development/Deployment service, Software Support/Maintenance service, Testing service and Consulting service to global customer/client. Software development contains product development, application development, localization and customization. Deployment includes installation, configuration, migration, upgrade, etc. Software support/maintenance mainly includes product support and application support. Testing service contains performance testing/integration testing/system testing. Consulting service includes ERP product consulting (SAP, Oracle/PeopleSoft/JD edward, Siebel), Business intelligence system development, Data Warehouse, Enterprise IT planning, etc.



The main job responsibility of Software Development Intern is to design, develop, test and document software project based on Microsoft technology.


This role is for a software engineer with Testing technical skills and good English speaking skills. It involves testing and qualifying components that are part of a large product. There is much communication internally and externally with Engineering plants in Australia and India. The product is a Unisys owned product that provides model driven development and code generation to a variety of platforms. Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Systems/Platforms Products is a great advantage.



Responsibilities of this role include:

- Writing and executing tests of Windows components that are implemented in C++ (or C#)

- Work with other engineers in the test and development teams under the lead of the technical leader in Shanghai

- Providing professional reporting and communication



Skills and experience include:


1. Education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology

2. Interested in software engineering and testing type of work and trouble shooting

3. Familiar with at least one software development process and have experienced some of it.

4. Interested in testing knowledge based work experience,

5. Very good English communication skills, both oral and written

6. Has an interest in testing work

7. Good logic thinking.

8. Good communication ability
