Inalfa Roof Systems, a Tier 1 automotive supplier of quality sunroofs, is looking for an experienced Manager of Advance Manufacturing Engineering to work at its facility located in Shanghai, PRC.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Set direction and standards for production, quality, safety, cost and customer satisfaction.

· Will require Manager to also "perform" AME functions as required to maintain timing commitments.

· Foster and drive creativity in all aspects of the manufacturing process development.

· Innovate and drive manufacturing processes with an emphasis on overall cost and simplicity (ease of maintenance / operation).

· Provide vision for the future of Inalfa's manufacturing operations in China.

· Integrate efficiency, process capability and first time quality improvements in developed manufacturing processes.

· Direct process input on all product development and quotation activities.

· Advise and coordinate with advanced program teams and deliver assembly processes that meet quoted targets and quality standards.

· Lead standardization of key technologies and processes.

· Deliver process balancing and labor oversight to the operational budgeting process.

· Drive and provide capacity planning for all China locations.

· Schedule and plan activities of the department, meeting financial goals and establishing work priorities.

· Drive and support plant budgeting process, specifically capital allocation and labor.

· Responsible for assigned contributions to operational total efficiency goals.

· Establish and maintain respectful relationships with other departments to improve product performance and reduce costs.

· Provide ergonomic analysis as required.

· Responsible for coaching, performance management and development of manufacturing staff.

· Provide leadership through the Company values of Respect, Transparency, Focus and One Inalfa.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise employees in the Advance Manufacturing Engineering Group: Provide supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: employee training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
