Job Description:
A Postdoctoral Fellowship position is available for a highly-motivated scientist to join a dynamic group in the department of pharmacology. This is an exciting opportunity to perform cutting-edge research in an industry setting at our Shanghai site. The goal of the project is to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of drug response and resistance to a specific target inhibitor. This work is of particular significance to the oncology group and at the same time is expected to result in high-quality, peer-reviewed publications. The postdoctoral scholar will work closely with a scientific mentor to drive the project. We offer an excellent benefits package and a competitive salary. The fellowship is for a single 3-year term.

Minimum Requirements:
Ph.D. degree in pharmacology, physiology, molecular biology or a related field and fewer than 3 years of post-doctoral training. Previous experience with tumor xenograft models and basic biology techniques (including tissue culture, Western blot, DNA/RNA isolation, qPCR and microarray etc.) is highly desired. Candidates must be able to work independently and also participate in team efforts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and scientific creativity are essential. Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills are required.
