Responsibilities:
Ensure Microsoft’s products conform to China regulations.
Deliver China certifications within timeline and cost to meet business need.
Track, analyze and provide unambiguous EMC/Safety/telecom/Energy requirement to the stakeholders.
Engage with Microsoft internal groups (R&D, business groups, Trade team, Corporate Attorney, supply chain, manufacturing etc.) when necessary.
Engage with China authorities to obtain regulatory interpretations.
Lead various functional teams in drafting Chinese Standards for Microsoft products. File the Microsoft Chinese Standard with relevant authorities.
Participate in the external product technical work groups.
Manage regulatory factory inspections and support market surveillance activities.
Bring regulatory analytical talents to bear in other Asia markets as needed.
Qualifications
10+ years experience in product certifications and regulatory standards analysis.
Strong technical knowledge in EMC/Safety/Telecom testing standards and requirements. Minimum 5 years of China certification experience is required.
Familiar with China Safety/EMC (CCC) and Telecom (SRRC/NAL/RTA) certification requirements and processes.
Knowledge of China Energy Standards and requirements.
Experience in dealing with government associates, China regulatory authorities, and agencies and managing regulatory factory inspections.
Capable of communicating in Chinese and English, both verbal and written.
Good project management, cross group collaboration and impact and influence skills.
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects.
Education
Bachelor or Master (preferably) degree in Business Management, Engineering or equivalent.
