Objectives of the position :
- Lead the business initiatives within Industrial Coatings, for Resins, in Asia Pacific Region
- Define strategy for region for resins (What, to Whom, How)
- Achieve operational CCM1 targets, and adherence to growth path
Representative Main tasks :
- Regional Marketing
Ensure that necessary market information, understanding are available (size of market segment/product lines, competition position, value chain, market trends). Develop strategic and tactical plan, balance region/global interest, monitor and support implementation. Deliverable marketing plan for industry and per market segments, product lines. Manage and supply promotional tools to countries. Support marketing communication programs in the region covering promotion material, advertisements, seminars, fairs and workshop.
- Global Marketing
Participate in global strategy development and business steering, foster strong communication to reduce duplication and increase speed.
- Regional Business
Target setting for industry and per product lines with countries. Monitoring of KPI's at regional level for industries and SSBU (value, CCM1). Proposition of corrective actions.
- Technical R & D
Coordination of key products positioning, within range and vs competition (promotional tools). Initiate, participate to projects relevant to region (input feedback to project owners). Training of key sales, technical people.
- People / HR
Team leadership including regular performance management. Career relevant skill improvement initiatives. Recruiting, career and succession planning.
- Communication
Inter and intraregional two way communication, sharing intelligence
Education & Qualification :
1.Over B.S. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or such related areas.
2.At least 10 years business experience in the related industries either from raw material side or paint formulation
