Job Responsibilities:

• To process daily operation of Securities & Fiduciary Services Operations by completing settlement, corporate action, regulatory reporting etc accurately and efficiently, following up with standard operation procedures and ensuring no operational error.
• Follow up with Standard Operating Procedures Manuals to ensure daily transactions are settled timely and accurately.
• Ensure daily payment from/to local depository are completed within cut-off time and without error.
• Ensure daily corporate action events are processed timely and accurately.
• Ensure cash posting entries are prepared accurately and without delay.
• Ensure regulatory reporting are prepared accurately and submitted within cut-off time.
• Supporting system related UAT including NSCP, SFE, SAA, Prop, D-com etc.
• Liaise and work with regional team to provide related information or supporting if any.
• Supporting Operation Head on risk control to ensure no operational loss reported throughout the year.
• Work closely with different stakeholders ie BU, regulators and market participants to ensure promulgations newly announced ae well captured & broadcasted within SFSO team.
• Ensure any irregular transactions, cash or holding movement be escalated if problem can not be solved immediately in order to avoid any possible loss or claim from respective party.
• Support SFS related project and deliver outputs as per project agreement and implementation schedule.
• In charge of daily BAU for trade settlement, corporate action, regulatory reporting etc to ensure completion of daily operation work.

Job Requirements:

• At least with 5 years relevant working experience in banking operations with 3 year proven track record in Securities & Fiduciary Service operation ie trade settlement and/or corporate action and/or regulatory reporting

• Functional Competencies
• Conversant with the Security/Fiduciary related policies,/ rules and regulations
• Be familiar with the market practice and settlement procedure China Securities Market ie A share, CIBM and QDII
• Good understanding of banking operations and practices

• Technical Competencies
• Familiar with QFII/RQFII trade operation procedures and market practice.
• Familiar with CIBM trade operation procedures and market practice.
• Familiar with Corporate Action handling practice.
• Experience of BaNCS system handling is preferred.
• Strong senses of risk controlling.
• Good in both written and spoken English
• Good PC knowledge and skills
