Job Title: Product Compliance Specialist, Asia Pacific

BU/Function: Product Safety & Compliance (PSCD)

Reporting to: Hazard Communication & Produce Compliance Manager, Asia Pacific

PURPOSE:

The Asia Pacific Product Compliance Specialist position is responsible for internal and external customer support for product compliance assessments, interpretation of A/P regulatory requirements / initiatives, and information inquiries regarding regulatory compliance. This position will conduct compliance assessments, file new/existing chemical notifications in support of the Asia Pacific business plans of Lubrizol Additives and Lubrizol Advanced Materials. This position involves application of Lubrizol chemistry knowledge to the requirements of evolving Asia Pacific chemical control laws or product application regulations. It requires effective integration with supply chain, commercial, operations and research organizations to provide maximum business value.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Filing of new/existing chemical notifications and product application notifications to secure regulatory clearance of products in Asia Pacific areas in a timely manner

Compliance assessments and management of all product shipments to Asia Pacific areas to ensure compliance and timely business supports.

Chemical regulations monitory, interpretation and compliance program/process development in the region

Communicate with customers and suppliers related to product compliance assessments of products and purchased raw materials, respectively

Other tasks assigned to support the team and business

职位要求：

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry related majors

Minimum 3 years’ experience in product regulatory compliance

Strong computer literacy including use of related databases

Strong orientation toward daily customer service environment; detail oriented

Excellent oral / written communication and interpersonal skills (Fluency in English is a must)

Ability to handle multiple tasks and to work to tight deadlines and changing priorities

Must be self motivated and comfortable working in a team environment

CONSIDERED A PLUS:

Experience in Asia compliance, such as Korea, Taiwan, or Southeast Asia

Knowledge of of and experience in lubricant additives and advanced material product

Knowledge and experience in hazard communication, stewardship or toxicology.

Experience in corporate ERP business systems, such as SAP

Other A/P language skills.
