Key Responsibilities

?Acts as primary contact for project/product status and performance.

?Identify and lead projects related to new products and business growth.

?Establish and maintain milestones and project plans.

?Build strong customer relationships and assist sales with pro-actively addressing customer issues.

?Guide products through development, industrialization, and manufacturing.

?Determine department needs and suggest corrective action related to these needs.

?Coordinate preparation of cost estimates, financial proposals, analysis, and summaries. 

?Coach cross-functional team members, and assure the appropriate training to work effectively.

?Able to develop Rockwell Automation documentation package from customer information by creating a BOM and submitting electrical and mechanical drawings for drafting.

?Basic understanding of electrical control panels and able to do basic troubleshooting of control circuits.

?Capable of learning customer application and comfortable making suggestions to customer for improvement.

?Evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering/scientific and business techniques, processes and criteria to analyze customer specifications, select appropriate equipment, design circuits, make price/cost estimates.

?Be responsible for leading the system design by guiding generation of bills of material, panel layouts, cabinet design, wiring diagrams, purchase requisitions, test and installation instructions to provide a complete working job.

?Coordinate and interact with Commercial Engineering, Manufacturing, Test, Drafting, Development, Sales Department as required for given tasks and projects.

?Prepare cost estimates, and quotations for special systems and projects.

?Demonstrates working knowledge of recognized project management processes and tools by planning, scheduling, establishing milestones, and conducting or coordinating detailed phases of the work for a project of small scope with minimal prior definition and direction.

?Assist Commercial Engineer in securing orders.

?Prepare correspondence (written, phone, personal visits, as necessary) with field offices, Commercial Engineer and/or customers to complete a job. 

?Influences decisions having a business impact.

?Strong technical knowledge of A-B products and electromechanical/solid state equipment.                                                                        

?Knowledge of RA procedures, paperwork, order flow, pricing policies.                                                                                  ?Concern for details, exhibit the follow-through to complete assigned jobs, with attention to simplicity and at minimum cost.

?Demonstrated ability to contribute to bringing new panel products to market through effective personal and team contributions.
