POSITION SUMMARY:

The Quality/ Senior Technician is responsible for installing and repairing equipment and training customer/employees on maintenance of that equipment. This position performs trial runs on equipment to ensure performance rates and quality meets established specifications. Additionally this position operates on site in an on-call capacity.



FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Essential Functions

1. Follows prescribed rules for safety, maintaining work areas, tools and/or equipment, machines, automobiles, laptops or other company property.

2. Utilizes product manuals, engineering drawings, and technical bulletins to install, operate, troubleshoot, and repair ITW Diagraph equipment at customer locations.

3. Contacts Help Desk Technicians, FST IIs. Senior FSTs, or Field Service Managers for technical assistance.

4. Utilizes electrical tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, and outlet tester) to measure electrical/grounding characteristics of ITW Diagraph equipment when instructions are provided.

5. Utilizes mechanical tools to install, assemble, disassemble, repair, or troubleshoot ITW Diagraph equipment.

6. Utilizes laptop in conjunction with specialized software to configure and troubleshoot ITW Diagraph supported equipment.

7. Maintains work schedule and works with internal resources to complete company objectives. Routinely utilizes company email, CRM package, and other provided communication tools for activity/status updates.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma (or GED) and a 2 year Technical Degree/Certification in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical field or equivalent technical work experience required.


Experience:

· 0-3 years related experience required; equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

· Excellent Problem Solving/Troubleshooting and Attention To Detail Skills

· Mechanical Aptitude

· Time Management, Prioritization & Follow Up skills

· Customer Service, Sales, and Negotiation skills

· Good basic math and reading skills.

· Excellent Oral/Written communication skills are required

· High Motivation, Initiative, and Interpersonal Skills

· Good Teamwork Skills

· Tolerance for working in stressful situations and environments

· Proficient in the knowledge and use of MS Office (Word, Excel).
