Position Description

Our growing Shanghai office is looking for senior and experienced Business Development Managers as well as not so experienced junior Business Development Managers who is keen to be in front of customers. Both must have excellent communication skills, excellent 'hunting' skills and/or solid network of potential clients.


Responsibilities

To help deliver AVTech's strategy the successful candidate will be responsible for:
· Develop and 'hunt' for new and strategic client opportunities as per the company objectives and directives;

· Dynamic and able to focus on small, medium and large opportunities;

· Achieve monthly and quarterly KPIs;

· Able to present and sell ICT solutions to clients;

· Manage new and existing client accounts;

· Learning, understanding and embracing AVTech's core solution portfolio and technology strengths;

· Ensure a high level of client satisfaction;

· Accountable for reducing business risk from day to day activities;

· Able to communicate affectively between internal departments, clients and partners;

· Travel around Shanghai (and China).


Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Personality Attributes

To help deliver AVTech's strategy the successful candidate MUST HAVE the following skills, experience, qualifications and personality attributes:
· Skills & Experience

o Senior BDM: minimum of 5 years ICT sales working experience with list of potential clients (especially foreign companies);

o Junior BDM: minimum of 1 year ICT sales working experience;

o Excellent communication and written skills in English (Chinese would be advantage);

o Basic knowledge of office applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Windows.

· Qualifications

o Candidates with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, English or a discipline to aid in the role described;

o Other known industry qualifications and certifications would be an advantage.

· Personality Attributes

o Professionally presented. We are a corporate/professionally dressed organization (ie. shirt and tie for men, and similar equivalent for women);

o Self motivated and willing to work outside the normal business working hours to meet business and client expectations;

o A positive, results oriented and customer focused attitude;

o A desire to take responsibility and ownership to see actions/issues through to completion;

o The ability to adapt to a changing environment that requires proactive and innovative solutions.
