Import & Export Supervisor



Location: Anting, Shanghai



OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB

Import/Export Supervisor is mainly responsible for Import & Export, Custom Clearance, Warehouse management from raw materials receiving, finish goods delivery to customers.



MAJOR RESPONSIBILIES

Responsible for managing the performance of site logistic service provider and forwarder, review their performance on a regular basis and continuously improvement.
Control freight cost, reduce premium freight to meet operation target.
Develop site logistic model, optimize logistic process to provide a flexible, fast logistic service to related functions.
Responsible for import and export customs process.
Responsible for site bonded warehouse management, compliance with China government polices.
Lead and supervise the various warehouse function team, from receiving team to line raw materials feeding, finish goods shipping and delivery
Responsible for inventory cycle count monthly, half year and yearly, ensure inventory quantities accurate in the warehouse and in the system
Review I&E, warehouse team performance regularly to plan and control activities of the warehouse efficient movement of inbound and outbound freight, keep 5S at warehouse
Responsible for managing outsourced warehouse service from contracted distribution warehouses and from warehouse equipment renter.
Coordinate and work with other functions to insure functions between departments operate efficiently and smoothly.
Report health, safety and environmental accidents/incidents immediately to the supervisor of the affected area.


KEY COMPETENCIES

Good communication skills Ability to communicate well with all staff levels.
Computer proficiency using MS Office Programs
Familiar with warehouse management system (WMS) or MRP System and materials flow in a manufacturing operation.
Minimum of two years experience with MRP System and inventory control system.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Educational: BS/BA or equivalent experience.
Experience: Min 5 years I&E working experience in manufacturing plants, family with government policy and the custom procedures
3+ years' experience at warehouse management position of diverse workforce in high volume warehouse manufacturing atmosphere
