The job involves:

1.      Writing behavioral models, monitors, and self-checking testbenches for building blocks, such as LNA, PA, mixer, filter, ADC/DAC and PLL;

2.      Releasing models for higher levels of integration and verification;

3.      Verifying chip level functionality, tracking verification results; Delivering verification reviews;

4.      Attending design reviews to become familiar with the basic operation of the chip and/or modules.

 

Preferred experience/skills in the following area:

1.      Verilog, SystemVerilog

2.      Behavioral models of analog blocks for event driven simulators

3.      Basic understanding in Phase lock loops, ADCs, DACs, and serial programming interfaces

4.      Basic understanding of transceiver operation modes

5.      Experience with PHY Verification a plus.

6.      Experience with SOC subsystem verification a plus

7.      Script language C/C++, Perl or Python

 

Education: BSEE is required, MSEE is preferred.
