Primary Job Responsibilities

• Communicate with customer and product owner to understand requirements
• Be responsible Design and build StubHub messaging platform
• Makes appropriate design and architecture trade-offs for a feature
• Ensure code quality, has code reviews with other developers to surface design and implementation issues
• Identifies risks and dependencies in the schedule for a feature
• Write unit test and fully leverages the automatable system for a feature
• Accounts for the performance, operation and serviceability of the feature
• Ensures customer and partner quality resolutions, solves customer/partner problems in a timely manner
• Learning cutting-edge technologies, and evaluate if our system can benefit from it. Creative attitude is very welcome during our daily work.

Job Requirements

• Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms and data structures
• BS/BA/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science or related fields
• 5+ years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go. Java is a must.
• Experience with database, rational or NoSQL (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB and etc.)
• You should possess a strong technical background and a good grasp of software engineering principles.
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
• Proven track record of working well with internal customer, exceptional problem solving, design, and programming skills.
• The ability to work well in a team environment is very important
• Passion and energy are as important as your technical skills.
