JOB OBJECTIVES:
Be the leader to capture business for assigned customer(s) in conjunction with BASF joint ventures, regional & global resources, AE, R&D, Finance & Precious Metal Management. Develop and execute approved sales & technology strategy for specific account(s) to achieve sales and marketing objectives for the account(s) as part of Asia & Global objectives.
Work with counterparts in different regions to formulate strategies for pricing, quality, manufacturing process, supply chain & PM management for securing awarded business locally and maximizing the profit.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and execute approved sales & technology strategy to achieve annual and long turn objectives & budget for assigned customer(s) independently.
2. Create and capture business opportunity in conjunction with BASF joint venture & the counterparts from different regions.
3. Coordinate necessary resources including but not limit to R&D and AE to execute technology strategy and manage competition in schedules.
4. Develop global pricing strategy for localization business and support commercial negotiation.
5. Work seamless with global and regional counterparts to manage technology transfer and setting up quality system, supply chain & PM management system to meet OEMs' schedule but complying BASF internal requirements and maximizing profit margin
6. Cultivate and enhance relationship with customers in both Global & local levels.
7. Budget & sales forecast development and monitoring.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Solid automotive/mechanical engineering or chemistry background equipped with good commercial sense and financial knowledge, major in automotive engineering or chemistry & having 2nd degree in marketing.
2. Seven years working experiences in Automotive industry with at least 3 years in managing global business, the latest job should be for Western Organization
3. Excellent internal and external communication skill for all levels of people, outstanding presentation technique, fluent spoken and good written English, good understanding of cross-cultural management style, ability in speaking Asian language is preferred but not necessary.
4. Good understanding of the impact of Regulation on short and long term business for different regions.
5. Strategist and executor, action oriented, "can-do" spirit; team player, capability in handling pressures and meeting deadline
6. Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
