JOB OBJECTIVES:
Be the focal point of precious metal management in Asia, in conjunction with counterparts in Europe and US, Business sites across Asia. Develop, execute and update precious metal system, Business Analysis and Performance Management with our customers and suppliers.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Customer Precious Metal Management for Asia
- Ensure correct and timely precious metal accounting together with our customers and suppliers.
- Development and deployment of transparent, safe, and cost-effective precious metal systems.
2. Planning and Performance Management
- Precious metal system updates in cooperation with customers across Asia.
- Support for local sales departments.
- Support and guidance for the local precious metal teams including customer on-site visits.
- Development and deployment of precious metal systems.
- Implementation and deployment of precious metal systems and accounting at new production locations in Asia.
3. Business Analysis
- Commercial / Audit advice related to customer cost savings programs.
- Commercial Guidance for the development of new precious metal pricing systems.
- Supervision of Committed Inventory Report creation.
- Monthly precious metal analysis reporting Over- under usage, billing over nominal, Surcharges, Mark-to-market.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor degree or above major in business management or other business-related disciplines.
2. More than ten years commercial / business experience ( in precious metal business is a plus).
3. PC knowledge ( MS Office ) and ERP system knowledge.
4. Outstanding presentation technique, fluent spoken and good written English; good understanding of cross-cultural management style.
5. Understanding of commercial requests and customer needs, and able to develop solution to meet short term and long term requirements.
6. Excellent internal and external communication skill for all levels of people.
7. Strategist and executor, action oriented but organized, “can-do” spirit, team player, capability in handling pressures and meeting deadline.
8. Reliable and trustworthy.
