JOB OBJECTIVE:
Supporting new investment project planning and project execution, new process introduction to our production sites, process and productivity improvements, set-up of new R&D facilities, site master-planning, benchmarking and site optimization, located in Shanghai, China.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Develop process design and conceptual layout proposals for capital investments into new production lines for Mobile Emission Catalysts

2.Provide production process related input from process owner (CCE) to engineering units to execute investment projects in cross functional teams. The projects are primarily in the fields of design, planning and realization of end-to-end concepts in manufacturing of mobile emission catalysts.

3.Propose improvement measures and coordinate investment project execution between the Mobile Emission Catalysts business unit (CCE), engineering units and overseas engineering support

4.Actively participate in the global technology exchange. You will participate in international project meetings via video conference and will communicate between the involved parties by interface management

5.Analyze process optimization potential of existing production lines. The background knowledge enables you to structure complex tasks.

6.Set up and maintain a site benchmarking database for CCE.

REQUIREMENTS:
1.You have an above-average Master in Mechanical Engineering/Major in Process Engineering / Chemical Engineering or similar and/or 5 years experience in the manufacturing industry with expertise in technology and project management.

2. With excellent communication skills, including quick understanding and active listening,
you are also a good team player.

3.You have the ability to support our customers in managing complex investment projects, and working in international project teams is your favorite task.

4.We expect mobility and flexibility to support our project needs and you may also need to coordinate projects at any other CCE site across Asia (Thailand, India. Korea, Japan).

5.A good command of Chinese and either English or German are required to develop and manage time schedules. Budget controlling is as essential as creating status reports.

6.We expect your willingness to take challenges, work under pressure, keep learning and continuously improve your skillset.

7.Fluent in English, both Spoken and written, CET-4 or above.

8. Familiar with Windows 2000 or XP and Office software.
