Overview:
Assist the Glamour Sales merchant team in the planning, project management and analysis of flash sales efforts. This role would be working closely with the merchandising and finance teams and requires strong organizational, project management, business, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
? Drive monthly projection process with Merchandising, Operations, and Finance Teams.
? Establish and operate a Daily Sales Projection Model.
? Presentation of daily and weekly planning reports to internal parties.
? Bring support to both the Merchandising and Financial teams to establish monthly/yearly budgets.
? Support the Director of Merchandising on inventory management for both consigned and purchased items.
? Support the Director of Merchandising on gross margin management across various product categories.
? Perform weekly competitive research on competitive flash sales e-commerce websites.
? Proactive analysis of risks and opportunities in the business, including ongoing communication to the Merchandising and Senior Management teams.
Desired Skills & Experience
Key Skills:
? Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge including data analysis. Knowledge of Macro writing a plus.
? Highly organized, efficient and a strong communicator. Excellent follow-through. Team oriented. Keen analytical abilities.
? Good project management experience working with multiple business areas, including finance and operations.
? Process oriented with a curiosity and desire to create new solutions that improve and streamline the team's workload.
? Cross-functional agility and strategic vision.
? Adaptable to change and uncertainty with flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reports to:
Position reports to the Director of Flash Merchandising.
Education and Experience:
? Candidate for Bachelor's degree or higher from a four-year college or university.
? Experience in Planning/Merchandising, eCommerce, Financial Planning and Analysis, and/or Management Consulting experience a plus.
