12 month contract to suit fixture and fittings expert.

The newly merged 'Greater Group' is looking for an experienced and motivated person with a strong background in retail and commercial fitouts to manage and train our QC team in China.

Since 2005 our group has been providing retail fixtures and fittings direct from China to some of the worlds leading retailers, including Pandora Jewelry, Samsung Electronics and Bunnings Hardware.

Responsibilities include:
1. Working with our Chinese supply partners to monitor quality levels of fittings and joinery ; ensuring finished product is of the highest standard
2. Offer technical advice and conduct training sessions for factory workers to ensure correct international construction standards adhered to
3. Provide technical quality reports for both internal and client use
4. Training our Shanghai based quality control team to ensure continuous improvement and eventual autonomy

Package Includes:
1. Accommodation in Shanghai China
2. Return flights home (one per quarter)
3. Generous remuneration packing with great performance based incentives

Applicants will have:
1. 5+ years in retail/and or commercial fitout
2. Qualification in cabinetmaking/joining or CAD drafting is preferred but not essential
3. Flexible and willing to travel
4. Independent
5. A great sense of adventure
6. Chinese/mandarin not essential
