nearly 90 employees, serving several divisions of the Compressor Technique, Industrial

Technique and Power Technique Business Areas. With the recent development into a regional

hub for spare parts, our organization delivers over 30,000 customer order lines a month

throughout China and Asia-Pacific for 10 different brands within the Atlas Copco Group. The

main operational activities are: warehousing, inventory planning and shipping, supported by

strong purchasing, finance, IT, SHEQ and HR departments.

Mission:

We are looking for someone to lead the shanghai shipping operation team to contribute to the company’s service excellence goals and objectives. In this role you are the ultimate responsible for transport planning and follow-up.

This applies to all inbound and outbound for national and international shipments. The

transport & shipping Team Leader will lead shipping administrators to ensure timely dispatch

and arrival.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- To ensure smooth, correct and effective for daily inbound and outbound operation with the

forwarders and agents.

- To be responsible for establishing standard shipping process to meet various customer

requirements.

- Propose and run projects to improve efficiency of the documentation and administration

and actively seek for synergies between all transport operation executed for Atlas Copco.

- Work among the Customs specialist, brokers and forwarders is a must to meet legal

shipping requirements.

- Support the mission to maximize customer satisfaction through reliable transport solutions

at minimized cost and environmental impact.

- The transport&shipping teamleader is part of the interface between customers and

transport service providers. As such, transport suppliers are continuously challenged by

you to find transport solutions in order to fulfil our delivery promise. Exceeding transport

service expectations of our internal and external customers is a key target.

- Has the responsibility to ensure that our business partners / suppliers to follow the rules

that the Atlas Copco Group has stated in the Business Code of Practice.

Measurement Knowledge

- A minimum of 3 years related experience in shipping, import/export is a significant asset.

- A sound knowledge of Chinese and English is required. Knowledge of other languages is an

advantage.

- Supervisory experience in team leading or experience with TMS system is a plus.

Educational requirements

- The candidate should have a bachelor degree in Engineering, Economics, Logistics, or equal

by experience.

- Tertiary qualifications in logistics or transport related disciplines are an asset.
