Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Shanghai

Reports To: Managing Director, Asia Pacific

Overall Responsibilities:

The QA Manager will establish performance standards, procedures and audit controls in order to meet business requirements, as well as identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of company operations.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership developing and directing quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives for company products and services

2. Implements quality management systems including ASME Sect. VIII, ISO 9001, ASME B31.5, and company specific quality systems

3. Conducts periodic audits to maintain relevant certifications

4. Training of production line staff on implementation of quality oriented production processes to address potential quality issues upstream of manufacturing

5. Training of QC personnel to implement testing and inspection of finished parts and products

6. Monitor, improve, audits processes to ensure continuous quality improvement

7. Monitor QA systems and advise Managing Director and operations team on system performance

8. Perform gap analysis between ISO and ASME standards; establish and implement a quality plan to keep company compliant with the standards

9. Coordinate with Supply Chain Team to maintain QA program for monitoring supplier quality, including audits and controls

10. Act as liaison with customer auditors and assume responsibility for ensuring corrective actions with customer specifications

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree or above in engineering

2. Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese

3. Training and certification on Lean and Six Sigma are desirable

4. More than 5-year working experience in QA/QC Management, experience in related industry will be a plus

5. Able to work well in cross-functional teams

6. Able to work under pressure, highly motivated and self-directed

7. Extremely detail-oriented and analytical
