Position: IT Infrastructure Manager-AP
Directly Reports to: Global Senior I.S. Manager, Infrastructure
Overall Purpose of Job:
This is one of the critical position in AP IS which will lead the IS infrastructure service delivery and service support in whole AP region. This role need lead the IS routine operation and IS service support to ensure the business running smoothly, also this role need lead the new site launch and global / regional IS infrastructure project, and keep continue improving the IS service for site.
Responsibilities:
l The IS Infrastructure Manager will directly manage the AP infrastructure service delivery staff, and indirectly coordinate with the local site IS administrators in order to ensure proper AP shared infrastructure and service delivery support to the sites
l Be responsible for staff performance and merit reviews, and also employee development and training plans
l Centrally manage infrastructure related matters and issues at our client AP manufacturing locations & offices
l Apply the our client ISPM (program management) methodology for major infrastructure related projects
l Provide leadership, guidance, and support with regard to server setups, installations, and migrations
l Provide system and site architecture management design and deployment of improvements when needed
l Lead Technical & Group expert teams for relevant activities and collaboration
l Manage Infrastructure related vendors (both purchasing of hardware and software as well as service)
l Ensure adherence to our client policies (i.e. backups & disaster recovery, monitoring, IS roadmaps, security)
l Yearly OP budget creation and monthly review / adherence to planned spending
Education & Work Experience
l Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, from an accredited university / college with an Information Systems related major, or a very strong relevant work history.
l Those with one or more of the following certifications are preferred: M.C.P. (Microsoft Certified Professional), M.S.C.E. (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), CCNA, PMP
l The candidate should have 10+ years experience in supporting an Information Systems environment, at least 5 years managing staff and budget experience. Experience should include working hands-on experience with IS Infrastructure systems.
l Automotive industry experience and business process knowledge preferred.
l Experience with the following technologies: Microsoft Windows servers & hardware, storage area networks (SAN) and network attached storage (NAS) administration, understanding of
TCP/IP and network services (DHCP and DNS), Cisco network equipment & IOS, Wireless Access Points and configurations, Oracle/SQL/MYSQL Databases, VNC/Citrix Metaframe/Terminal Services, Web Server Administration, Telecom & PBX telephone, system backups & restores, File & Print services, E-Mail systems , Symantec Anti-virus & firewall products, OS patching products , end user PC & desktop support, shop floor and manufacturing systems integration.
l Those with PMP project management certification and project leadership experience have an advantage.
