职位描述
我们客户是一家500强欧美汽车零部件公司，此职位可以base在上海或者苏州工业园工作，是上海IPO采购中心。
Position：Commodity Manager-Metal
Responsibility:
1. Sourcing and pre-audit Asia suppliers for metal to meet the requirement of continuously cost down and business growth. Recommending potential suppliers which meet our quality requirement with competitive costs.
2. Develop Asia suppliers/manage programs per need from regional/global request.
3. The implementation and execution of global commodity plans for global commodities in portfolio spend categories in Asia.
4. The preparation, creation and implementation of regional commodity plans for assigned portfolio spend categories.
5. Work with customer groups to establish specifications for focused categories.
6. Perform market analysis, benchmark analysis and spend analysis for regional spend categories.
7. Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationship for key suppliers for metal
8. Put in place contracts for regional purchases and large spot buys when no existing contract exists.
9. Leading negotiation and contracting for the assigned spend categories
10. Developing, maintaining and right sizing the supplier base of metal to meet the needs of the Corporation.
11. Supply Risk Management
12. Driving usage of cost models to validate commodity strategies and to understand significant cost drivers.
13. Managing and leading efforts on cost savings initiatives in line with profit plan and overall business objectives
14. Develop category sourcing strategy and lead a cross-functional team to execute the strategy.
15. Lead or facilitate the supplier selection and negotiation process for metal
16. Engaging with the business units to identify, qualify and quantify cost reduction initiatives.
17. Working with internal customers (technical, R&D, Sales & Marketing, Regional and local teams, etc.) to meet objective
Education and Experience:
1. Requires minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical.
2. Good technical understanding, able to read blue prints; knowledgeable in purchased commodities and various manufacturing processes for metal. Good understanding of cost drivers in procured materials/services.
3. Procurement certification a plus.
4. Understanding of TS 16949, VDA 6, Lean Sigma and any other industry standards in all activities, can lead audit independently is a plus
5. Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in roles with progressive growth and expanded responsibility in a multinational organization.
6. International sourcing experience required.
7. Language: English
Required Skills:
1. Deep functional experience, analytical thinking, knowledge of business acumen, proven success in supplier negotiation.
2. Good communication skills (written and verbal) and proven ability to facilitate collaboration in cross regional and multi-cultural teams.
3. Ability to coordinate multiple group efforts within the company to achieve objectives
4. Good understanding of program management process
