Position Summary:



Assist Products Transfer Director todevelop holistic strategy to roll-out Lean NPT (New Products Transfer) processacross company businesses. Manage NPT project milestones; coordinate rawmaterial planning, tooling/fixture development, special process certification,first article production, quality and engineering approvals, etc. to completeNPT projects on schedule. Provide management and guidance to multi-functionalproject teams; Manage and enhance customer relationships; Assist with businessdevelopment activities; Provide full accountability for project budgets andschedules.



Essential Job Functions andAccountabilities:



· Responsiblefor product development of a new project from New Products Introduction to MassProduction.

· Manageschedules and costs for assigned customers/programs.

· Helpcoordinate development of all aspects of quotations, including but not limitedto: preparing preliminary project schedules, providing preliminary NREestimates, negotiating Statements of Work, and preparing preliminary projectbudgets.

· Adviseupper management on overall financial health of all programs being managed.

· Providesupport with identifying and preparing new engineering and/or businessproposals.

· Abilityto form and lead strong multi-functional teams to coordinate design team, workcell. SCM, NPT and manufacturing, to achieve company and customer objectives.

· Establishand maintain communications with both customer personnel and senior management.

· Negotiate/facilitateresource allocation and/or employee relation issues with Functional Managers.

· Providedashboard, status report regularly and communicate related information tostakeholders.

· Abilityto respond in a timely fashion to common inquiries or complaints fromcustomers, regulatory agencies, or internal personnel.

· Conductformal design reviews with customers to ensure design(s) meet customer designrequirements.

· Abilityto effectively present information to senior management and/or customerpersonnel.

· Adhereto all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this positionand as directed by supervisor.

· Complyand follow all procedures within the company including security, IP, and exportcompliance policies.

Other Job Requirements: Occasional travel is required, including internationaltravel.





Educational Qualifications:



· Bachelor'sdegree required, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing operations discipline,Master’s degree preferred;

· Relatedtraining, like PMP, Six Sigma, DTF (Demand Flow Technology) or Lean Manufacturingis preference







Experience and Other SkillQualifications:

· Fiveyears experience in product development role; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.

· Workexperience from western manufacturing company with high-mix-low-volume –productionenvironment

· Hasboth good personal technical background and teamwork spirit, has certainnegotiable capability and effective logical thinking way to solve problems,

· Demonstratedability to work effectively across geographic boundaries and with people ofdifferent cultures

· Projectmanagement experience

· On-timeproject completion

· Pilotto mass production cycle time

· Chinamanufacturing space utilization

· Chinafor China revenue %
