JOB SCOPE
Our company provides sourcing services to French and European textile retailers and wholesalers. In order to support our expansion, we are looking to hire an Junior Merchandiser to support our Shanghai-based team of Merchandise Manager.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand client requirements in terms of style and quality and source relevant manufacturers
Select samples according to client general guidelines to demonstrate understanding and workmanship
Develop prototypes following clients’ requirements
Follow up with factories at various product development stages: Sampling, production and shipment.
Negotiate price and lead times with manufacturers
Organise bulk production and in-line inspections with internal and third-party quality controllers
Update product database according to instructions
Organise product files: Make fabric swatch cards, accessories, etc
Organise showroom for client visiting
Constant follow-up with clients by e-mail (mostly) and telephone
Prepare shipping documents for clients


REQUIREMENTS
Three years of professional experience
Knowledge of textile
Sensitive to fashion
Fluency in written and spoken English. French a plus
Computer skills
Willingness to travel
Willingness to work in a team and to learn.

更新产品数据库负责产品相关文件，制作布卡、配件等
客户到访前布置样品间
与客户通过电子邮件(主要)和电话进行联系
为客户准备议付、随货文件等


要求
三年相关工作经验
具有纺织基础知识
对时尚有敏锐的触感
英语熟练, 最好会法语
计算机运用能力
能够接受出差
具有学习精神和团队合作精神
