Position: Regional Accountant ( Asia )

Reporting Line
Reports to Regional Finance Manager (Macmillan Education Asia & Nature Greater China)

Responsible:
- Internal book keeping for offices in Macmillan Education Asia & NPG Greater China
- General GL functions
- Statuary book keeping for Shanghai Office
- Closing procedure and standard desk procedure preparation and maintenance

Assist Regional Finance Manager:
- Establish & Optimize accounting process.
- Prepare financial statements including Balance sheet, Income statement, etc. in accordance with PRC GAAP for Shanghai & Beijing Office
- Prepare financial statements as per Macmillan Education & NPG group requirements
- Collaborate local reporting and global consolidation integration
- Tax Planning & Preparation
- Internal & External Audit Preparation

Education & Competence Requirements
- University degree in Accounting
- Knowledgeable of China GAAP.
- Four or more years of accounting experience, at least two years in charge of GL function
- Good communication skills, stewardship and hardworking.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- CPA is a plus.
