POSITION OVERVIEW

AP Consolidation and Controller reports to the Director I, Region Finance.

KEY OBJECTIVES:
? To ensure that information is produced on a timely and accurate basis, and that this information is understood by management, as to the implications that it has over company plans.
? To participate in the management team for the successful operation of H.B. Fuller Asia Pacific
? To ensure financial codes of practice and ethical procedures of the Finance Manual are adhered to.
? Play a key role implementing SAP across the region

PRIMARY DUTIES

Responsibility and authorities for this position are defined in the authorized standard procedures for this position. Authority will be delegated as per company procedures.

? Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management and statutory financial reports
? Ensure company-wide financial policies are adhered to.
? Minimize exposure to risks in the treasury systems.
? Effectively manage the local tax responsibilities.
? Liaise with internal and external auditors.
? Ensure accounting functions are effectively managed.
? Ensure information systems are effectively managed.
? Undertakes the company secretarial functions for the Company.
? Monitor sales compliance to financial systems and policies.
? Provide to A/P Group Office and U.S corporate financial reports and analysis as per requested
schedule and within time frame guide lines.
? Manage finance staff, responsible for staff selection, PPA, career development and training, utilizing
H.B. Fuller systems and principles.
? Assist in managing Information Technology systems and processes.
? Liaise with outside Auditors, Banks etc as required.
? Develop a strong team that supports the business success in the region.
? Becomes the SOX coordinator for the region
? Other duties as directed.
? Standardize accounting process across the region

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
? Bachelor degree (CPA is preferred)
? Minimum 10 years relevant working experience
? Strong in US GAAP accounting knowledge
? Fluency in both spoken and written English
? High Level of technical skills.
? Ability to take ownership of issues and motivate staff to address them.
