Job Responsibilities:

• This job role is expected to lead the end to end process of capital management in the bank. Candidates with Treasury and Markets business finance background is an advantage regarding to strengthen the team knowledge structure.
• As the overall coordinator and main task leader for CBRC Basel 3.5 implementation.
• Work with various stakeholders to drive annual ICAAP exercise
• Promote capital efficiency through analysis and forecast of capital consumptions by product and business unit
• Support T&M in their business planning, budgeting, performance measurements, and track execution of approved plans
• Provide relevant and value-added financials to enable T&M heads to make strategy decisions, coordinate T&M business innovation on behalf of Finance team
• Forecast RWA and capital needs to facilitate business planning during ALCO review, annual budgeting and Board discussion etc.
• Proactively work with business partners to plan, monitor and manage RWA and capital consumption for capital efficiency and stability
• Represent Finance as a key driver for SA-CCR implementation.
• Update and maintain capital related policies and procedures, ensure the execution across units
• Handle capital related matters and issues including new capital request, bond issuance, profit appropriation proposal etc.
• Support new product roll-out by ensuring appropriate capital treatment, analysis of capital consumption, and advices of possible optimization solutions.
• Promote business understanding of capital rules and impact by providing training to management, business partners or Finance peers
• Oversight capital external and internal capital reporting to local regulators and Head Office
• Ensure local product and valuation controls are performed on time, the end to end process and control is robust, and local governance is exercised in the performance of this task
• Ensure all routine T&M tasks and financials produced are accurate, relevant and timely.
• Coordinate with local and Group Finance teams to review the launch of new treasury products and business
• Support manager to partner T&M on business strategies and planning.
• Project support including accounting standards, system testing, and new business initiatives for T&M
• Conduct deep dives and insightful financial analytics to highlight focus areas especially in P&L, sales margin, balance sheet, and capital optimization
• As the specialist of Pilar I&II capitals in Capital Management function, to help the bank achieve overall goals of capital adequacy, efficiency, stability and optimization.
• Contribute to the overall goals of the T&M BUC team as a team member regarding to candidate’s skill set.

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder or above
• Minimum 8+ years of related experience in capital management or treasury business finance.
• Strong knowledges in Basel framework and CBRC Capital Rules for Commercial Banks
• Good understanding of banking products and respective capital impacts
• Experience of financial reporting and planning
• Knowledge of Treasury products, especially the impacts for capital treatment
• Solid business sense and analytical skillset
• Proficiency in spoken and written English with good communication and presentation skills
