Job Description:

• To analyse, resolve and feedback information to the appropriate Coats departments and customer on sewing related problems at customers so that we can consistently improve the quality of our products and service to our customers.
• Proposes the deployment of specific elements of the Coats Sewing Solution suite in customers so that a technical sales argument in favour of the Coats offer can be developed.
• Delivers basic practical and theoretical training to customers and the sales team on technical subjects related to the use of sewing thread and sewing machine to ensure proper end use of Coats products to develop a technical sales argument in favour of the Coats offer.
• Controls, monitors and correlates results of PES studies at customers to develop an argument in favour of enriching the product mix after the PES study.
• Controls and monitors field testing and product launches of Coats products and services to measure their performance to expected standards.
• Record and file details of visits made so that the information can be analysed to identify potential development needs of the Technical Sales person and the customer.
• Assists Sales Team in developing a customer profile so that a comprehensive data base can be completed for each customer.

• To conduct and analyse internal thread sewing test and thread consumption so that technical service can enhance sales team and customers confidence to use Coats products.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years experience as a sewing machine mechanic
• A basic understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite
• A good understanding of written and Verbal English
• Minimum Senior High School Certificate
