Job Description

Job summary:

• Take responsibility in the expanding China team for software testing and integration;

• Responsible for software and hardware testing and continuous reviews with international teams;

• Set-up and operate complex HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems with controls and IoT features;

• Communicate with local and international teams of developers and testers.

• Support the software specification teams with system knowledge in the system integration process.

Tasks:

• Independent requirement analysis for software considering the customer specifications;

• Responsible for software integration and testing topics, coordinating tasks within team and projects;

• Test and analyse the software of different HVAC components in the system context down to bus and wireless communication level to guarantee failure free operation of the system;

• Create system test concepts based on the software baseline specification and project requirements to guarantee aligned testing teams and the required test coverage for release of the product;

• Team work – also cross-departmental- for the improvement of software development processes and methods.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• University degree of Software engineering, electrical and computer engineering or similar;

• Knowledge of embedded software solutions;

• Experience in software builds, testing methods and issue tracking (e.g. Jenkins, ROBOT, Jira);

• Good knowledge of electronics hardware and electronic components, especially MCU and connectivity related components;

• Knowledge of data communication wired (e.g. bus) and wireless (e.g. RF, Zigbee, Wi-fi);

• Awareness of quality and cost;

• Excellent communication skills with local and international teams and self-confidence;

• Analytical and cross-divisional thinking with an outside the box problem solving approach;

• Ability to work under pressure;

• Fluent in English (verbal and written);

• Available for local and international travel.
