The PureSOx scrubber solution for marine applications has been developped by Alfa Laval to help the marine industry to comply with sulphur emission limits. Demand for the PureSox is growing fast. To provide service to yards and ship owners, a team will be formed with base in Shanghai, teaming up with colleagues in Japan and South-Korea.

 

The Claim Handler will investigate, register, solve and/or assist in solving the issues reported by customer, Sales Companies, Site Support Engineers and/or Commissioning Engineers in North East Asia. Reporting to EGC Hub NEA manager

• Solve where possible independently the issues reported by Site Support Engineers and/or Commissioning Engineers in NEA, e.g. ordering and supplying to the ship yard of missing or broken items;
• Investigate, evaluate and handle customer warranty claims;
• Register in Alfa Laval’s claim handling tool ACT;

• Responsible for follow up of claims, with the right functions for further actions;

• Follows up on actions to warrant quality improvement;

• Answers customer questions and provides information about the process;

Maintain regularly contact (e.g. Skype meetings) with central (Nijmegen) organization, NEA SC’s and Site Support & Commissioning Engineers about issues and progress.

Knowledge & Skills:

1. Marine Engineering background with good electrical and mechanical technical skills.

2. Minimum 3 years experience as a Marine Engineer, on board or on a yard, or equivalent;
