Job Responsibilities:

• Audit Assurance Work

1. Provide a professional internal audit service to stakeholders through:
2. the assessment of risk and evaluation of internal controls; and
3. setting of audit opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the control environment in DBS Bank (China) Ltd.

• Consultative Work

1. Promote the continuous improvement of risk management, control processes and corporate governance across DBS Bank (China) Ltd.

• The principal responsibilities of the job holder consist of the following 3 areas, focusing on the business lines and support functions including IBG (Corporate Customers’) KYC / CDD, GTS (Corporate Customers’) Cash and Channel products and operations, T&O operations, and others when required by Head of China Audit and team managers:

1. In charge of and lead the audit team for audit engagements as assigned by team managers according to audit plan, including business process and control reviews, IT application reviews, rule-based data analysis, etc.
2. Advise and apprise promptly to the SVP/VP and the team of all major risk, control and regulatory issues arising during the audit.
3. In charge and execute all audits in accordance with departmental and professional standards and supervise team members during assigned audit engagements.
4. Update and maintain audit risk matrices, including audit work papers for each audit engagement.
5. Test and follow up all outstanding audit issues for proper implementation during each audit engagement.
6. Maintain key relationships with middle level management and stakeholders, understand and keep abreast of the major initiatives of the assigned business portfolios, raise potential risk and control issues to audit management.
7. Keep abreast of own professional development to enhance one’s skills and competence.
8. Support the team mangers for all other audit matters, including annual audit plan, audit committee reporting, continuous monitoring, and other ad-hoc requests.

• Coverage of Responsibilities:

1. Mainland China, including subsidiaries and joint venture companies;
2. Ad-hoc short-term overseas assignments.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor or mater degree holder in financial, audit, or IT related areas.
• More than 7 years’ experience of external / internal audit or risk / control consultancy in banking industry;
• Strong risk and control mindset, familiar with audit methodology and process.
• Strong logic thinking, self-disciplined, proactive, quick learner, and is able to work under pressure.
• Be interested in and is willing to learn the IT areas and the digital world.
• Good English speaking and writing.
• With people management skill is preferred.
• With data processing and analysis skillset is preferred.
