Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the position is the engineering development of chiller electrical technologies. In this capacity, the engineer will be primarily responsible to develop solutions that best meet chiller system requirements. To do this, the engineer must have a strong understanding of the electrical function of commercial air conditioning product and compression application.
Responsibilities:
· Develop chiller electrical system that meets the product development requirements in collaboration with chiller system engineer
· Validate electrical function and components reliability in the laboratory and field
· Collaborate with supply chain to meet electrical function cost target
· Collaborate with quality team to lead the qualification plan / sample tests
· Collaborate with manufacturing faculties to effectively implement design into production
· Support software upgrade, system optimization with global control team
Candidate Attributes:
· Master degree with major in electrical or related area
· Fluent English (both written and spoken)
· HVAC industry experience, preferred
· Leadership and teamwork skills required
· Skilled in C, C++, embedded system
· Self motivated and quick to learn
