Department: Product Development Engineering
Job Title: Product Engineer
Reports To: R&D Manager
Location: Shanghai

SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Setup 3D & 2D for development projects
2. Project Contact person for engineering with customer and supplier
3. Conduct DFMEA / Tolerance stack
4. Problem analysis and solving.
5. Cooperation with other departments.
6. Manage engineering change process, such as ECR, ECO
7. Create and maintain engineering BOM in Smarteam system.
8. Maintain engineering warehouse.
9. Coordinate production for customer order before SOP.
10. Undertake other tasks required form management

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

-Bachelor's degree or above in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering
-5 years working experience with CATIA/UG, familiar with digital mock-up is better
-Vehicle moving parts or glass & headliner design experience (Prefer)
- Have experience on project control
-Good skills for English
-Strong technical skills
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills in Catia 3D modeling
-Good plan and schedule management skills
-Good communication skills

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of top managers, clients,
customers, and/or boards of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
