Job Purpose职位目的：

 

• Apply principles of Engineering and Thermodynamics in the areas of key components of diesel engine (base engine, gear train, power unit and cylinder head) design and development.

Key Accountabilities主要职责：

 

Mechanical design and development

• Mechanical design for key components of diesel engine (base engine, gear train, power unit and cylinder head) in accordance with company guidelines, drawings and drafts considering application, cost, performance, manufacture, assembly and service
• Standardize different parts/components with similar functions.
• Create drafts/drawings based on feasibility and capability of manufacturing techniques, materials and production standards.
• Effective communication with stakeholders, such as team members, engineers from other teams, technical managers, project leaders, product and manufacturing engineers, and supplier partners.
• Schedule implementation of parts/components alternations into production process.
• Evaluate mechanical optimization potential of parts/components in function, specification or dimension

 

Advanced design  development / enhancement / optimization

• Analyze parts/components, reports, documentation, client orders and production programs and detect potential for advanced development/enhancements/optimization.
• Organize the development process with stakeholders
• Launch part testing/evaluation and calculation to verify requirements/compliance of parts/components.
• Carry out design development/alternation based on feedback from manufacturing, procurement and customers support

 

Technical documentation

• Translate design outputs into technical documentation (e.g.  parts lists, drawings) in accordance with standards, product specifications and serial numbers.
• Compile technical specification and project documentation

Key Experiences and any Qualifications职位主要经验和技能要求：

• Bachelor’s degree or above in an accredited Engineering, Internal Combustion Engines, Thermal Energy, Vehicle Engineering or equivalent.

• Min. 7 years working experience in the field of engine design, mechanical design or comparable field.

• Strong understanding of design, molding, processing technology, test standards, etc of base engine, gear train, power unit and cylinder head.

• Familiar with industry standards, rules and regulations, such as DIN, ISO, and so on.

• Advanced skills in Pro-E, Auto CAD to create 3D/2D models and drawings.

• Good communication ability and coordination skills, can analysis and solve the relevant issue accurately and timely.

• Ability to effectively communicate in English in work environment. English level should be passed CET-6.
