Sr. Compensation and Benefit Manager
Job purpose * Report to Greater China HR head and provide strategic and operational C&B programs and solutions to all Business units / functions throughout the region
* Design, develop and Implement regional and global C&B programs and ensure smooth regional integration of the policies and programs
* Interact with Business HR partner and other HR colleagues (eg. Recruiting) to provide C&B advices and solutions
Job Description:
§ Responsible for the design, development and implementation of competitive compensation and benefit programs, policies and procedures for Greater China region that support business strategies.
§ Lead, supervise, manage, motivate and develop compensation, benefit as well as expatriate management team members
§ Develop clear policy and guidelines for C&B programs to be deployed at different sites across China and to ensure transparency and well documented processes clearly understood by all users and compliance of policy and processes across entities.
§ Design and implement competitive C&B programs per business growth needs and objectives.
§ Work with Business HR partners to identify C&B issues and ensure that the execution of C&B policies across region is consistent and align with HR policy.
§ Keep track of Compensation and Benefits programs and policies to ensure competitiveness and in line with company total remuneration philosophy.
§ Keep track of China and Regional Labor laws and employment contractual conditions to make sure company policies are in compliance with legislative regulations, corporate rules and guidelines.
§ Analyzing local salary structures (market benchmarking, market salary surveys, etc.) and develop salary structure models that ensure external competitiveness, internal equity, and performance linkages.
§ Provide expert advice and guidance to line management in partnership with HR business partners
§ Supervise and provide full range of payroll services for compliance, periodic audits for data integrity & confidentiality, etc.
§ Monitor HRIS/SAP project and make sure the system is consistent with global standards and applicable across region.
Key Attribute and Qualification:
§ Over 10 years solid C&B experience with minimum 5 years in management position in MNC or a professional consulting firm
§ Good working knowledge and experience in market analysis and benchmarking methodologies (familiar with Mercer / Hewitt / Hay survey methodologies);
§ Strong analytic skills with solid thinking process and action orientated
§ Excellent presentation and persuasive skills that can influence senior management
§ Excellent interpersonal skill and capable of working with staffs and managers at all level
§ A team player who are well organized and organizational management skills
§ Strong business acumen and can work under pressure
§ Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin with strong intercultural communication
§ Proficient in PC applications, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP will be a plus
§ University and above degree
§ 'Can-Do' attitude
§ Unquestionable integrity
