Six Sigma Master Black Belt / Lean Expert
Position Overview: Responsible for conducting business assessments, delivering THE COMPANY and/ or customer training materials and managing projects using Six Sigma, SCOR and / or Lean methodologies. Candidate must have a strong ability to coach client Six Sigma Black Belt and Green Belt candidates.
Specific responsibilities include:
· Conducting diagnostic assessments of customer organizations to provide a portfolio of opportunities to reduce customer's costs, improve quality, and improve delivery.
· Interacting with all levels of the customer organization to understand the operational and business issues.
· Utilizing Value Stream Mapping to identify and eliminate waste as well as evaluate potential changes in work flow to maximize operational efficiencies.
· Leading /teaching cross functional teams to implement continuous flow manufacturing and pull systems, 5S improvement, standard work, set-up reduction (SMED), total productive maintenance (TPM) and problem solving/rapid change Kaizen activities.
· Developing and delivering training materials and facilitating the transfer of knowledge to employees and management in the principles of Lean Enterprise. (includes Six Sigma, DFSS, SCOR and Lean)
· Educating and coaching customer champions and senior management in the application of the tools to ensure teams are successful in meeting project goals.
· Promoting the THE COMPANY business in China.
Requirements:
· Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt / Lean Expert.
· Bachelor's degree required, Masters or above preferred
· 5 years direct related experience. Must have completed several successful Six Sigma projects. (DMAIC, DFSS & Lean projects)
· Understanding of Lean / Toyota Production System (TPS) techniques and Supply Chain Operations Reference Model (SCOR) application,
· Ability to demonstrate usage Lean tools (continuous process improvement and waste reduction tools)
· Excellent mentor and coaching skills
· Strong presentation and public speaking skills; strong ability to educate at multiple levels
· Demonstrated project management skills
· Superior written and oral communications skills in both English and Mandarin.
· Proficient in MS Office and Minitab or JMP (statistical software)
· Ability to lead and influence others. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
