Experienced Mechanical Engineer






Main Roles of the Experienced Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the position is the engineering development of refrigeration mechanical technologies. In this role, the engineer will use engineering principles to provide efficient solutions to the development of processes and products. To do this, the engineer will have to demonstrate a strong understanding of the structure of the commercial refrigeration product, manufacturing process, sheet metal frame and frame based designs



Responsibilities:

· Develop and optimize all the mechanical side of the Refrigeration Products, within an efficient team-work with the Refrigeration Engineer

· Ensure all product design meet company standards, especially those of safety, quality and reliability

· Perform FEA analysis as required, verify mechanical design for structural integrity, vibration, shipping & lifting, seismic, fatigue, etc

· Produce accurate design documentation from instructions, schematics or ideas of self and other team members

· Participate in product prototype building and test

· Validate components function and reliability in laboratory and during field-trial

· Collaborate with supply chain to meet product cost target

· Collaborate with manufacturing factories to effectively implement design into production



Candidate Attributes:

· Master degree with major in mechanical with a successful related experience in the Refrigeration or Air Conditioning industry

· Be familiar with common office software application and customization tools. Especially with AUTOCAD, Pro-E or Inventor

· In depth knowledge of Mechanics and FEA analysis field and FEA analysis experience

· Knowledge and experience in assigned areas: materials and component selection, detailed mechanical design, fabrication, sheet metal, piping, welding and casting

· Fluent English (both written and spoken)

· Leadership and teamwork skills required

· Refrigeration display cases design experience, preferred

· Interest in working on an international project with the potential to revolutionize the refrigeration industry

· Enthusiasm to work in a dynamic and international team utilizing the most modern R&D technologies and processes.
