Main Responsibilites

SQE Function:
1.Act as primary/lead SQE for suppliers in China.
2.Function as a bridge between sourcing, Technical support, manufacturing and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
3.Develops positive relationships and works closely with strategic sourcing to on-board and manage suppliers.
4.Proactively identifies improvement opportunities and effectively resolves issues.
5.Facilitates and instructs SQE/suppliers in the proper use of Statistical Process Control and 6 sigma methodologies.
6.Provide supplier quality functional and cross-functional leadership, training, and mentoring.
7.Drive process qualification at suppliers (control plans, trial runs, process audits, etc)
8.Develop and manage comprehensive improvement plans with low performing suppliers in collaboration with Engineering and Sourcing.
9.Drive comprehensive root cause investigations.

QA Function:
1.Implement QMS (quality management system - Quality, EHS, Safty, Risk), such as system document management, internal audit, annual management review, process audit, continuous improvement and customer complaints handling.
2. Support process engineer to develop quality plan including QCDT, QCC, Kaizen, etc.


Main Requirements

1.Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college in Engineering or Quality related field
2.Minimum of 4 years' experience in process and quality improvement within a manufacturing environment
3.knowledge and experience of ISO9001:2000.
4.Strong verbal and written communication skills
5.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
6.Strong problem solving skills
7.6 sigma/lean green belt preferred
